this weekend isn’t start very well, we get up in the morning and found that we haven’t get confirmation for place to show and tell our products hack.

but we don’t let it ruin our days. so we just hack and do some chat about our product:

• BionFare – a face recognition for attedance and security developed by @amirmuntaha

BionFare was build from scratch, it use some techniques from biometric paper abiut face recognition. proudly it can recognize with glasses and without glasses on.

• EmbeddedwIcinga – an arduino shield developed by @wijiutomo and connect to Icinga by SMS, it used GPRS shield on arduino and k320i modem on Icinga Server

you can tell it look neat but the board has 0.5 revision number so it has been through many iteration. @wijiutomo doesn’t have electronic background but he eager to learn. he said it loat much fun than embedded linux OS. the board has two side. control side and sensor side. control side has relays for driving electric load and on sensor side it has analog and digital pin, just connect it on some sensor or switch.

you can look on icinga dashboard that the server get message. the plugin still not parse it well, lot more code needed.

we think it need to use GPRS or some stream communication. @wijiutomo said he will try on thernet shield so it can tell ambient condition on data center.
